Registration does not guarantee participation in a study. Participants are selected according to the criteria set by research agencies and their clients.

Most sessions last 45–90 minutes.
For some studies we may ask you to complete a quick pre-task beforehand. This might include sharing your thoughts in writing or uploading photos or short videos showing how you use certain products or services.

Typical incentives range between:
£40 – £120+ per session
Payments may be made via bank transfer, PayPal, voucher or cash, depending on the project.
Payments are typically made within 14 working days of taking part (Not including weekends).
Any personal details you provide when registering are used solely for the purpose of inviting you to relevant market research opportunities. Your information will never be sold or used for marketing or sales activity.
Data is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, and is managed in line with guidance from the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Participant information is securely stored for up to two years after which it is permanently deleted. It is not shared with any third party unless you are successfully booked onto a project.
If you are booked, a limited snapshot of your screener responses may be shared with the research agency and the client commissioning the study, solely to confirm your suitability.
We only share data with agencies and clients who have confirmed their compliance with UK GDPR. Those organisations may retain this information under their own participation terms, which will be provided to you at the time.
Your data will be retained for a limited period for research recruitment purposes and can be removed at any time upon request.
Your data is stored and processed within the UK and EEA. In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, you will be notified in accordance with ICO requirements.
Your rights
You can withdraw your consent, decline any invitation, or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us directly. All data handling is carried out in accordance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Market Research Society Code of Conduct.
